GATE AUTOMATION ENGINEER
The Gate Automation Engineers main duties are to carry out pre-planned remedial works, reactive diagnostic and repair, maintenance & risk assessment survey's to existing client’s automated gates & traffic barriers, providing a first-class service to all. This is a demanding role within a technical team. You will be expected to work alone and on occasion with one or more other engineers. You must be adaptable, proactive, hardworking, a good problem solver and have excellent communication skills.
Main responsibilities:
Daily:
Carry out risk assessment surveys
Carry out repairs and upgrades to the above systems
Fault finding / reactive maintenance of the above systems.
Commissioning of new automated gate & traffic barrier systems.
Any duties that the company deem the Gate Automation Engineer as competent to carry out
You will be required to be on our OOH call out rota.
General responsibilities:
Keep up to date with industry technology and regulations with training as required
Fill out all appropriate paperwork
Observe all Health and Safety guidelines to ensure safety of one’s self and others
Manage own time on jobs to ensure maximum efficiency
Communicate progression with Head Office
Share best practice and knowledge with other team members
Promote a positive company image at all times
Responsible to Line Manager
Personal requirements:
Must have at least 4 years’ experience working with automated gate and traffic barrier systems
DHF or Gate Safe accredited
DBS preferred but not essential
18th edition electrical experience an advantage but not essential
You will undertake cross over training so you can work on other types of equipment.
Prepared to work outdoors all year round
Logical problem solver
Technically minded
Adaptable and ready for a challenge
Able to plan and work on own
Competent communicator, willing to communicate with staff and clients
Respect others
Willing to learn
UK Driving licence

INDUSTRIAL DOOR ENGINEER
The Industrial Door Engineers main duties are to carry out planned and reactive maintenance to existing client’s roller shutters & automated doors providing a first-class service to all. This is a demanding role within a technical team. You will be expected to work alone and on occasion with one or more other engineers. You must be adaptable, proactive, hardworking, a good problem solver and have excellent communication skills.
Main responsibilities:
Daily:
Carry out planned maintenance to roller shutters & automated doors.
Carry out repairs and upgrades to the above systems
Fault finding / reactive maintenance of the above systems.
Installation of new shutters or doors
Any duties that the company deem the Industrial Door Engineer as competent to carry out
You will be required to be on our OOH call out rota.

GATE INSTALLER & CIVILS
The Gate Installer & Civils Workers main duties are to undertake all aspects of ground work from lifting and relaying block paving and tarmac to the installation of gate and fencing posts. This is a physically demanding role. You will be expected to work alone on occasion or with one or more other team members. You must be adaptable, proactive, hardworking, a good problem solver and have excellent communication skills.
Main responsibilities:
Daily:
Installation of gates and fencing
Excavation of trenches, installing of ducting and manholes, backfilling and making good surfacing
Mixing concrete and casting concrete pads.
Any duties that the company deem the Gate Installer as competent to carry out
General responsibilities:

Manage own time on jobs to ensure maximum efficiency

You will undertake cross over training so you can gain experience installing other types of systems.

TRAINEE ENGINEER
The Trainee Gate Automation Engineers main duties are to help the engineers with their installations and learn the process so that in time you could become engineer yourself.
Main responsibilities:
You will be required to undertake ground works which will include the use of petrol saws, concrete breakers, cement mixers & hand tools
You will be helping the engineers with installations of conduit, pulling cables, hanging gates and installing automation systems.
You need to be able to listen to instruction and carry out requests

Willing to learn
You need to be physically fit
You must have previous experience of using tools
